Life gets busy. Long days at work, plans with friends on the weekends, taking the kids to their activities…it can be easy to put self-care on the back burner and not take time for you. One thing you should never put off, however, is physical care. Doctor of Physical Therapy Brandon Bowers, PT, DPT, Astym Cert., of Athletico Physical Therapy explains three reasons to start physical therapy sooner rather than later.
How does your company help other businesses become more effective?
We help remove pain and discomfort so people can live their healthiest lives.
What differentiates your company from others in your industry?
Everything we do is focused around our greater purpose of empowering people, inspiring hope, and transforming lives. Our patients trust in our expertise, which is why 98 percent would recommend us to a friend – because we were able to help make their lives better.
What do you enjoy most about doing business in the Dallas Region?
We enjoy the people we get to meet and help every day. Dallas residents are proud of their community, as they should be, and we are excited to become more involved in the community as we continue to grow as a company.
Why did you decide to become a DRC member?
We decided to join the DRC because of the networking opportunities it will provide. As a collection of clinics around Dallas, we love the opportunity to get out into the community to let Dallas residents know about the great care that is being offered close to their homes and offices. Now that Texas is a Direct Access state, people are able to access our services to relieve pain right away, without needing a physician referral.* We are hoping to spread the word.
We are excited about the DRC events, community engagement, and opportunities to get to know all the other great business leaders in the Dallas Region.
How has your business changed in the past five years?
Athletico continues to open clinics in neighborhood locations and has added even more services, like our COVID-19 Recovery and Rehabilitation, Blood Flow Restriction, Telehealth service offerings, and more. What remains the same is our commitment to providing the highest quality orthopedic rehabilitation services to communities, employers, and athletes in the markets we serve.
*Per federal guidelines, beneficiaries of plans such as Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, VHA, and other federally funded plans are not eligible for free assessments. Direct Access rules vary by state and service.
