For over 35 years, The Omnia Group has helped organizations transform their workforce using employee assessments and behavioral insight. We empower HR and business leaders to continuously grow, develop and inspire their workforce. James Nalepa, Account Executive for Dallas-Fort Worth and beyond, explains how The Omnia Group supports your company’s mission throughout the employee lifecycle.
How does your company help other businesses become more effective?
We help organizations understand their human factor. Our assessments give businesses the tools to make well-informed, data-backed decisions whether they are bringing someone new onto the team or promoting a top performer. Even better, we don’t just sell a product and leave our clients to figure out how to turn insights into action on their own—we’re a partner throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
What differentiates your company from others in your industry?
The Omnia Assessment, our popular personality assessment, is based on extensive research, both theoretical and practical, in the prediction of behavioral characteristics through adjective checklists and psychometric analysis. It’s also simple and quick to take, so clients get informative results and actionable direction without delay. By utilizing the Omnia Assessment, clients get an understanding of a candidate’s strengths, challenge areas, and motivations. This enables them to delve deeper in the interview, better understand team fit, and provide personalized coaching to get the most from every person on the team.
We fully support our customers throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Our experienced team is ready to help with everything from implementation through succession planning and retirement. We want clients to get the most from our services, so our team provides personal, live responses to any question. We regularly review assessment results with our clients, discuss interviews, craft job postings and support employee engagement and development initiatives. We work with clients to compare candidates, identify ways to improve staff performance, and help build culture and engagement through improved communication and team interactions.
Finally, we believe in the power of insight because our tenured team of dedicated professionals proves its validity. On average, our team members have been with Omnia for 15 years with several celebrating more than 25 years of service. Omnia’s employment longevity highlights the value of the assessment in placing the right people in the right positions and keeping them engaged and productive.
What do you enjoy most about doing business in the Dallas Region?
The Dallas Region’s business-friendly environment, diverse market, excellent access to the U.S. and the world, and strong base of well-educated, skilled employees make it ideal for companies of all sizes to network and engage in the local community.
Why did you decide to become a DRC member?
As a member of the Dallas business community, we hope to become more ingrained in the corporate culture and vitality in this metropolitan area. Joining the DRC is a great way to connect with the larger community to support the growth and development that the Dallas-Fort Worth area so richly deserves.
How has your business changed in the past five years?
We have evolved over the years to focus more on the dynamic of the personality beyond the hiring process. After a candidate is hired, it’s important for their growth, as well as the company’s, to acknowledge, understand, and tailor coaching and goals beyond the first year. We have a method and provide a pathway of continued support and guidance beyond the interview and initial hire. The workplace and the workforce are continuing to shift. As a result, Omnia continues to evolve our solutions to adapt to changing demands. For example, Omnia recently released employee development reports for those working remotely. Remote reports provide relevant, real-world advice for virtual interactions. We’re excited to help our Dallas-Fort Worth clients throughout the employee lifecycle, from hire through growth and development.
